Indian football team captain Baichung BhutiaThe arbitration hearing into the suspension row between Bhaichung Bhutia and Mohun Bagan will continue on September 13.
This was decided after both the parties filed their responses to the notices issued by former Solicitor General of India Amarendra Sharan on Tuesday.
Indian captain Bhutia, his counsels Uma Nath Banerjee and Pradeep Aggarwal were present in the hearing while Mohun Bagan was represented by Delhi-based legal firm Suri and Company at the Sharan's residence.
Sharan said both the parties can pray for interim relief on September 13 after having an "exchange of pleadings" by September 12.
"They presented their replies to the notice issued by me and before Saturday (September 12) they will have exchange of pleadings. On Sunday, there will be a hearing again when they can pray for interim relief under section 15 of the Arbitration Act," Sharan told PTI.
Asked about reports of Mohun Bagan having reservations about the suspension row being referred to an arbitrator, the senior Supreme Court advocate said by attending the hearing today in response to the notice issued by him the Kolkata club has accepted the AIFF's decision.
